Guarantee Certificate

We grant a guarantee of 30 years on Clay Roof Tiles

The guarantee applies to water impermeability and frost resistance. Should the clay roof tiles lose these properties within the guarantee period, replacements will be delivered ex works free of charge. Storm damage and damage caused by lightening are not covered by the guarantee. A pre-condition for our guarantee is that the clay roof tiles are laid correctly, professionally and proper ventilation of the roof is assured, and installed in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. Along with BS 5534: 2014 Code of practice for slating and tiling and BS 8000 – Part 6: 2013, Workmanship on building sites. We will reimburse the roofer with the actual costs incurred (standard wages, social security contributions and costs for ancillary materials) in the replacement of the damaged clay roof tiles and special-purpose products within the period of the guarantee. We reserve the right to decide on the award of the replacement or re-roofing work on presentation of a cost estimate. Complaints must be raised without delay. We must be given an opportunity to inspect the damage. No claims for work going beyond the services covered by this guarantee certificate will be accepted. All agreements shall be valid only when confirmed by us in writing.
